Meet Kyle Burns

Meet Kyle Burns, our Bar Manager and head Bartender. He epitomizes our philosophy of creating a place where "everybody knows your name." Kyle has been working for 25 years as a bartender, mostly in the Denver area, with a resume of experience that includes the Palm Steakhouse, the Avenue Grill, Choppers and French 250. He is the bartender behind "Denver's Best Martini," and has been voted as one of the best bartenders in Denver by popular vote.

Originally from Bristol, Connecticut, he was studying pre-med at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY, when he took a part time job as a bartender. The rest was history. He moved to Denver when the chain he was working for opened a restaurant here in 1984.

"Instead of being a doctor, I'm a phsychologist behind the bar," said Kyle. "I listen to people's problems, then make them feel better when they walk out than before they walked in."

"I make a point to introduce people at the bar. I like meeting new faces, and I like to see those faces become regulars. By the end of the night, I generally know everyone's name who is sitting at the bar," adds Kyle.

Kyle is also an active member in the community and has been on the Planning Committee for the Denver Bartenders Miracle Ball (to benefit the Children's Hospital) for the past 12 years.
