Jack
Daniel's Single Barrel:
In addition to featuring Jack Daniel's as our well
whiskey, the Blake Street Vault offers the select
Single Barrel Jack Daniel's - hand-picked
especially for our restaurant. Single Barrel is aged
in select areas of the Jack Daniel's distillery, which
causes its color and taste to deepen further. Robust
and bold-flavored, this whiskey has notes of toasted
oak, vanilla, and caramel. One barrel, one unique
taste.

The
Moscow Mule (a.k.a. Denver Donkey):
A
Moscow Mule is a cocktail made with vodka, gingerbeer,
lime and Angostura bitters. The name refers to the
popular perception of vodka as a Russian product
and the intense flavor "kick" of ginger
beer. It is served in the traditional copper mug.
The mule was born in New
York's Chatham Hotel during a meeting between the
presidents of Smirnoff and Cock 'n' Bull ginger
beer. From there it made it's way west.
During excavation in the
basement of the Blake Street Vault, 19th century
bottles of Ginger Ale were uncovered which helped
to confirm the Mule as one of the signature drinks
at the Vault.
